Empowering Community, Culture, and Care Across the Sunshine Coast B.C.
Mission Statment: The Aboriginal Healing Alliance is dedicated to providing culturally safe healing resources, community support, and holistic wellness programs exclusively on the Sunshine Coast, BC. Rooted in Cree cultural teachings—including Wahkohtowin (kinship) and Miyo-pimatisiwin (the good life)—our initiative specifically serves youth (Oskâyak), single parents, and vulnerable community members.
As part of our long-term commitment to sustainable care, the Aboriginal Healing Alliance is actively working towards establishing dedicated physical community facilities on the Sunshine Coast within the next two years.
These future spaces will serve as safe, welcoming hubs for:
Cultural Gatherings & Elder Mentorship: Spaces for storytelling, traditional teachings, and land-based learning.
Family & Youth Support Services: Dedicated environments for single parents, youth activities, and holistic wellness programs.
Community Connection: A permanent safe space offering practical aid, guidance, and community support.
